NetUse 1.2.4 is out. What’s new?

A few days ago NetUse was updated to 1.2.4 and available on the App store now. We took our time and made significant improvements in the application stability and overall performance. What’s new in this release:

  • Significantly reduced CPU usage (especially in full screen mode)
  • Resolved usage bar visual appearance issue under Lion
  • Reformatted Overview pane
  • Increased graph area
  • Fixed time/date locale and made all the text properly formatted regardless of a selected system language (yes, next update will include localizations)
  • Improved real-time graph performance
  • Fixed traffic graph resolution
  • Added annually data reports
  • Improved dock and status bar icons usage visualization (bigger and easier to read fonts and colors)
  • Resolved memory leaks
  • Updated settings screen formatting
  • Added new plist option to flip around upload and download usage

Overall we’re very happy with the update and hope it will find many satisfied users. If you have any question about NetUse, please do not hesitate to contact us. We do read and reply to all emails.

Nappy New Year everyone!

Any progress on supporting Actiontec routers? I know it’s a pain that they don’t do SNMP natively, but it sure would be nice to have some stats from the, especially as CenturyLink continues to use them as some of their primary offerings.
